The People’s Democratic (PDP) has clarified the air on the rumored shifting of its governorship primary election noting that elections to nominate  the party’s governorship flag bearers  across the country still holds as earlier scheduled on Sunday, September 30, 2018.

In a statement posted on the opposition party website, delegates, members of the party and aspirants for the gubernatorial election were also advised to adhere strictly and participate in the primaries on the scheduled date.

“The rumour about the postponement should therefore be disregarded completely” the statement said.

It however, said that the gubernatorial primary election dates for Lagos, Kano and Imo states would be announced soon.
