Dan Sokoto sponsors Kwara delegates to Abuja PDP Convention

A Kwara State House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Salman Ridwan Dan Sokoto, has boosted participation at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Convention in Abuja by sponsoring 14 delegates from the state to attend the high-profile gathering.

The event, held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, drew party leaders, stakeholders, and members from across the country.

Dan Sokoto, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Dan Sokoto Transport Global Services, provided transportation for the delegates in his Hummer bus, alongside accommodation, feeding, and cash support as part of what he described as a motivational gesture to encourage active political engagement.

Speaking after the convention, the aspirant said his decision to sponsor the delegates underscores his commitment to strengthening grassroots participation and unity within the party.

He also joined key figures at the convention, including governorship aspirant Engr. Bolakale Kawu and former Senate President Abubakar Bukola Saraki, alongside other dignitaries and party faithful.

Dan Sokoto commended the successful conduct of the convention, noting that it demonstrated the PDP’s collective commitment to teamwork, shared ideals, and national development.

“I congratulate all stakeholders and elders of our party in Kwara State for their steadfast dedication and contributions to the success of the convention,” he said.

He further extended his congratulations to the newly elected National Chairman, Alhaji Abdulrahman Mohammed, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC), expressing optimism that the party would continue to deepen unity and deliver democratic dividends to Nigerians.

The aspirant also wished all Kwara delegates and party leaders a safe return journey, praying for divine protection.
