Ugochukwu Eke, Umuahia.

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia state, Uchechukwu Ogah has told his party members and supporters not to vote for him if they are not going to vote for his principal, President Mohammadu Buhari.

Ogah said that what he wants is to have an all round APC government at all levels, from the the local government, house of assembly, House of Representatives, senate and to the presidency for easy governance.

He said, “What I want is for APC to win all the elections in the state and the national level so that it will be easy for us to get what we want from the federal government instead of going cap in hand to beg for what ordinarily would be ours”.

“I want APC to win all the elections from the president to house of assembly, National Assembly so that there will be an understanding between the state government and the members of the National Assembly so that we can have a common course”.

The Abia APC governorship candidate said that the party in the state has quality and capable candidates that will deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state and not people that will go to any where they are elected to sleep.

Ogah used the forum to tell his party members and supporters not to look towards money as doing so will not only distract for them but will bring rancor among members, “All I want for to you is to forget money, but look towards getting power as once you get power money will come”.

He assured the people of the state that within the first 100 days of his inauguration that the people of the state will know that real change has come, stressing that they have put necessary machinery in motion to ensure that they win the election.

The Abia APC governorship candidate said that he will take the youths of the state to the western world, pointing out that education is the key that will open all locked doors against the youths of the state.

Ogah said that street trading in the state will be a thing of the past as free education will be introduced, “Therefore no child will be denied education on the issue of school fees as parents will have no excuse not to send their children and wards to school”.

He assured the people especially civil servants and pensioners of the payment of their salary and pensions, adding that regular town hall meeting will be held with the people to determine what they want before embarking on such projects.

The oil magnet told the people that he will build three standard world class hospitals in all the three senatorial zones in the state which will be managed by Indians so that the people of the state will have the best in health care delivery.
