The All Progressives Congress ( APC), Sokoto State Chapter, is set to commence the registration and revalidation of its members on Tuesday, February 9,2021, according to its State Caretaker Chairman, Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida.

Achida ,who gave an update on the two-week nationwide exercise said that , already, all the needed materials and logistics had since been deployed across the 23 Local Governments of the state .

He also revealed that all the officials to conduct the exercise in the local governments and the 3,035 Polling Units in the state had since been trained and deployed.

The chairman further disclosed that  various committees, to ensure the successful conduct of the all-important exercise had been formed and inaugurated.

“We are fully ready for this exercise and we will leave no stone unturned , together with our leader , Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and all the Stakeholders,  to ensure its success .

” am therefore appealing to all our members to come out en masse to revalidate their membership , as well as get registered .

“This is to make them to become bonafide and financial members of the party, in line with its Constitution.

“This is our only potent weapon to be able to vote and be voted for, at all levels during the 2023 polls, so as not to disenfranchise ourselves,” Achida, averred.

Meanwhile, the seven-man Publicity Committee set up for the exercise, held its inaugural meeting on Monday, where it outlined plans to diligently discharge its duties.

The Committee has the State Caretaker Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Sambo Bello Danchadi as its Chairman, with Alhaji Bello Umar Alkali, as its Scribe.

Other members of the Committee includes  Bello Danbaba Binji, Malami Tito,  Bashir Rabe Mani,  Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal and Bashar Abubakar.

It could be recalled that, the APC National Leader, President Muhammadu Buhari,  had penultimate week revalidated his membership , in his Polling Unit, in Daura, Katsina State.

Similarly,  the Leader of the party in Sokoto State,  Senator Aliyu Wamakko, had done the same, on Sunday, February 7, 202, in his Gidan Ja’oje Polling Unit 003,  Wamakko Ward, Wamakko Local Government,  Sokoto State.
