In a thrilling finale, Atalanta secured their first-ever Europa League title with a stunning 3-0 victory against Bayer Leverkusen, thanks to a hat-trick from Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman. Leverkusen, despite their impressive unbeaten run and recent domestic success, were unable to secure the treble, with this loss marking a significant setback just days before their German Cup final match. “We’re disappointed, but we’ll learn from this and come back stronger,” Leverkusen’s coach, Xabi Alonso, said.
