Governor Alex Otti of Abia state has approved the reconstitution of the boards of the state’s three (3) foremost football clubs.

In a Press statement signed by Okey Kanu, the Commissioner for Information and Culture, those appointed are:

Enyimba International Football Club

Eric I. Asomugha (vice chairman).

Frank Adiele Alaribe (secretary), Uche Okechukwu, Nwazue Ernest Chibuike, Chijioke Collin, Ude Jerry

Herbert Okonkwo, Raymond Izuwa

and Onwunali Jap Nnamdi.

Those of Abia Worriors include:

James Agbaha Ochunkwo, Francis Obinna N. (Secretary), Nwoke Chibuzor Emmanuel, Anokwuru Dennis Chinonye and Nwokocha Charles Agwu. Others are; Ukaegbu Herbert, Okezie Chimezie, Francis Chibuike Chilaka and Emeka Nwanna.

Whereas those of Abia Comets comprise: Onuoha Marshal Ibe, Nna Henry, Henry Steven (Secretary), Anyanwu Hope Ibezim, Onwuchekwa Chukwu, Okereke Chinedu Emmanuel and Chidi U. Obasi.
