A middle age woman Saratu Tukur is currently cooling her feet in Birnin Kebbi prison,the accused was arraigned before a sharia court 1 in Birnin Kebbi for allegedly abducting and forcing a 15 year old girl Ramatu Muhammad Jega.

The presiding judge (Akali) Mu,awiyya shehu said the lady in question was arrested by operatives of hisbah committee in Birnin Kebbi after raiding her house at bayan tasha area Birnin Kebbi where they found her in possession of ramatu Muhammad Jega who  she has been forcing to have sex with men for three thousand naira per slot.

According to Muawiya the accused pleaded guilty of the charges against her,the court therefore remanded her in prison custody pending the hearing of her case which is Thursday 23rd of October 2019.

He added that several people came for her bail but he refused because of the gravity of her offence.

It will  be recalled that about three weeks ago before the hisbah raid ,Muhammad Jega the farther of the girl declared his daughter missing without a trace of her since then only to be found in custody of saratu tukur her captor.

The judge also stated that they detained ramatu for few days as instructed by her but was released yesterday to her farther.

However the incident was confirmed by Director sharia of hisbah board Alhaji Abubakar Lamne.
