The Senior Pastor of Chapel of Faith Bible Assembly International, Onitsha; Bishop Emeka Michael Nwankpa has advised well to do Nigerians to touch the lives of the needy in the society.
Bishop Nwankpa who gave the advice in his country home Umuopara Ntigha Umukalu Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Actually of Abia State during the grand opening of his house “Yahweh’s Villa” on Sunday April 1st, 2018 said the rich should remember the poor.
“A rich man that does not reach out to others that doesn’t have is not rich. Well to do should use their position and wealth to touch the lives of the needy. That is what Jesus Christ taught.”
He said “for the past twelve years, I have been into philanthropy touching the lives of widows and the less privileged as well as the physically challenged in Nigeria especially in Onitsha, Anambra state and Abia”.
“Bishop Nwankpa foundation has one hundred and seventeen people currently benefiting from his scholarship scheme, sent 40 persons abroad for various business ventures.”
“For the past eight years now, I have shared not less than 50 motorcycles in Isiala Ngwa, provision of street light in Ntigha, construction of Boreholes for the community, shared 5000 pieces of wrappers and over 5000 bags of rice to widows. I added Abia State disabled sports men and women into in my foundation and empowerment of youths, men and women in my community. Today I have provided over 300 bags of fertilizer to my people to enable them farm in 2018 as well as pay school fees for selected JSS 3 students in Isiala Ngwa and if they do well, I will give them scholarship”.
In their separate speeches, the Governorship candidate of APGA in Abia Dr. Alex Otti represented by Eze Nelson Nmerengwa and the former speaker of Abia State House of Assembly; Hon Martins Azubuike congratulated Bishop Nwankpa for bringing development to his community and urged him not to relent.
Speaking also, a foremost traditional ruler in Abia His Royal Majesty Eze Bernard Enweremadu thanked Bishop Nwankpa for showing love this people and urged other well to do Abians to follow his example.
