The presiding Pastor of hours of Salvation Church Umuahia, Olaitan Olusegun Olanrewaju on Easter Sunday urged Christians all over the world to use the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to reflect on their past and show love to one another.
Pastor Olanrewaju who spoke to our correspondent after Easter Sunday service in Umuahia urged Christians to exhibit the true love of God maintaining that the greatest thing for man to give to his or her neighbor is love. “Jesus Christ gave his life because of the love he has for us. We should learn how to forgive others just as Jesus did to us. If God has blessed you, extend it to the needy and that is what God wants us to do. Show love to one another” He said.
The clergy prayed to God for the Nation and urged Nigerians to be patient with the Local Government and have the belief that the harsh economic condition will soon improve. He also prayed to God to touch the heart of Boko-Haram members so that they could release the only remaining Dapchi Girl who is a Christian pointing out that Nigeria is a home for both Christians and Muslims and both should co-exist.
