During the 2024 Democracy Day celebrations on Wednesday, President Bola Tinubu experienced a brief slip while boarding the parade vehicle at Eagles Square, Abuja.
The minor incident occurred as the President approached the vehicle upon his arrival at the venue. Witnesses observed that he momentarily lost his footing but quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings.
A presidential aide downplayed the incident, describing it as a “mild misstep.” The event at Eagles Square was one of several activities planned to mark Nigeria’s Democracy Day celebration. Despite the minor slip, President Tinubu remained composed and the festivities proceeded smoothly.
