Governor Siminialayi Fubara of Rivers State has expressed disappointment with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stating that the party has failed the people of Rivers amidst ongoing political challenges in the state.

“I will also appeal to you that in this process of privatisation, anything that has to do with our own State here that needs to be privatised, the Rivers State Government will be interested,” he stated, advocating for the state to acquire stakes in relevant enterprises to safeguard their interests.

Governor Fubara concluded by emphasizing that state ownership would not only protect these assets but also contribute to their effectiveness for the benefit of both Rivers State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
