The  Chairman of Gudu local government area of Sokoto State, Honourable Bello Wakili Bachaka, has appealed to the state Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, to open the newly constructed senior secondary school building in the local government area.

The local government chairman while speaking with newsmen on Thursday at the school premises described the school as a big project which should not be left alone without put into use.

He assured the state government that despite the insecurities ravaging the local government, indigene of the town in Bale will ensure their wards fill the state.

Bachaka further described the projects executed by the state government in the local government as people oriented which will go a long way to ameliorate the people of Gudu local government.

Recalled that the local government was the only local government in the country without a senior secondary school until the coming in of Aminu Waziri Tambuwal administration in the state.

It was however unfortunate that since the completion of.the school about three years ago, insecurity in the area does not give opportunity for the state government to put the school into use.
