The Chief of Defence Staff ,General Lucky Irabor Today 16th February 2023 unveil a book titled, “Fundamentals of Military Law and Practice written by a renowned expert in Military law, Maj the Nigerian Army Resource Centre Abuja.
Speaking at the event, the CDS who also Chaired the occasion said the book is an insight into the basic of military law and Administration of Military Justice. According to him, the military tradition and Practice constitutes of military offences and approaches to disciplinary procedures.
He disclosed that the Armed Forces of Nigeria is anchored on discipline as no military can work effectively without being discipline .
The Special Guest of Honour and the former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Dambazau in his remarks commended the author for the wonderful idea in writing the book and urged everyone to read and make use of it.
The author Major Mike Kebonkwu (rtd) in his vote of thanks, appreciated the presence of everyone and pray for God guidance and protections for the serving personnel in all theatres of operations.
Highlights of the event were reviewing of the book by Dr AFK Adasu, unveiling of book and a group photograph.
