He was sacked over alleged “high-handedness”. A motion to this effect was moved by Shuaibu Haruna, member representing Kwami state constituency.
The New Narrative gathered reliably that the plot to install
Abubakar Luggerewo representing Akko Central constituency has been on for sometime. He was immediately sworn in as new Speaker.
The House also impeached the Majority Leader, Samuel Markus from Pero-Chongi and replaced him with Yerima Gaule representing Kaltungo-East.
Deputy Chief Whip, Yahaya Kaka, was sacked and replaced with Saidu Mohammed representing Deba constituency.
