Ifeanyi, 26 year-old son of Mike Nzeagwu, a Public Relations Consultant and media personality will be buried tomorrow, Tuesday July 18 at the Redemption Camp, Lagos Ibadan Express way. According to the funeral programme released by the family, there will be a memorial service at Open Heaven Parish near GTBank by 9am followed by interment at the RCCG Memorial Garden, Redemption Camp.We gathered that Ifeanyi, until his untimely demise was a brand strategist at Fidelity Pension Managers, Victoria Island, Lagos. He was said to have slumped in the staff canteen on Monday July 10 and was rushed to the hospital where doctors battled unsuccessfully to save his life. A visit to the family home of the Nzeagwus in Magboro Ogun State, paint a picture of gloom and despair as eerie silence only punctuated by cries from sympathisers and prayers by men of God enveloped the atmosphere. We learnt that the Managing Director of Fidelity Pensions, Mr. Donald Onuoha led top management on a condolence visit to the family of their late staff on Sunday. Attempts to speak to the parents of Ifeanyi failed as they are too overwhelmed with grief to speak. But friends and colleagues have been paying tributes to Ifeanyi on a social media . They described him as intelligent, humble, witty and easy-going young guy who was ever willing to offer assistance to friends and colleagues. Ifeanyi who is the first son of the family of Mike Nzeagwu, studied Mass Communication at the prestigious Babcock University. He was also a youth ambassador of Nigeria Prize for Leadership led by Prof. Anya Anya. Ifeanyi’s parents who are pastors in RCCG are said to have surrendered everything to God as they bear their grief with religious equanimity.
