The Lagos State Trade Union Congress, (TUC), Women Commission, has joined millions of workers across the globe to felicitate with workers in Lagos state in commemoration of this year’s International Workers’ Day Celebration.
In a statement on Friday, TUC Lagos Women Commission Trustee, Comrade Ann Dozie-Enukora on behalf of the Lagos TUC women, commended workers in Lagos for their patience and understanding, particularly in their support and efforts towards the government at stemming the spread of COVID-19 pandemic especially within the state.
She enjoined workers to continue in their steadfastness and resilience in the face of seeming challenges until we all overcome.
“Today I celebrate all workers in Lagos State, Nigeria and all over the world. I celebrate you because without you nations will not exist, without you economies will collapse and without you development will be impossible” she concluded.
