Alhaji Jibril Ahmad is a Kaduna state indigene but a reknown Kebbi based entrepreneur whose business spanned to 15 years.
Jibril deals in chemicals use for the manufacture of pomade, Izal, air freshners and soaps for domestic uses in many households in Kebbi state and beyond.
According to him since he came to Kebbi he has touched the lives of many youth across the gender being the sole supplier of such chemicals in entire Kebbi state, manufacturing of soaps, pomade, Izals and air freshners wouldnt have been possible.
He said he has trained at least 5000 youth both male and females in Kebbi some of them manufacture soaps, Izals and air freshners and pomade which serves as employments for them and as well forces down the prices of such items as they compete side by with the so called foreign goods “sometimes in shops and markets one can hardly see any Izal products except the ones produced by the boys and ladies he trained.
He explained that, as an entrepreneur he can boast of personal achievements such as cars, houses, he has performed hajj pilgrimage and currently training his children in universities which he said will not work with any government establishments to wait for monthly pay ” iam not going back to Kaduna iam already established here in Kebbi”.
He urged both federal and state governments to support both major and minor entrepreneurs as they can assist in reducing unemployments gaps in the country, to graduates and under graduates Jibril admonished them to obtain certificates but should not wait for governments jobs as they are no longer there.
Jibril said that, he has never receive any grants from the Kebbi government he has been the one giving free training to all his beneficiaries in all the fifteen years he has been in the business and empowerments, while urging the state government to step in, he said he will remain focused and undetered until his items completely break the monopoly and bring about the needed economic value chain.
