The Nigerian Union of Journalists, Sokoto State council has condoles Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar over the loss of one of his cabinet member, Alhaji Hassan Danbaba, who is also a grandson to the late premier of the Northern Nigeria, Sir Ahmadu Bello, died after a brief illness on Saturday.
In a condolences message jointly sigyby the chairman of the  council, Dalhatu Abdullahi and the secretary, Muhammad Nasir Bello, the council also condoles the state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, over the death of the deceased who until his sudden death, was the Magaji Garin of Sokoto
“It iis with heavy heart and sublime submission to the divine will of Almighty Allah that we received the news of the demise of Alhaji Hassan Danbaba (Magajin Garin Sokoto), Board Chairman, Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA).
“This great loss has given an edge not only to the people of Sokoto state and Nigeria but global community
“On behalf of all working Journalists in Sokoto state, the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Sokoto State Council, wishes to use this medium to condole with the Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, His Excellency Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, his immediate family and the entire people of Sokoto state for the loss”
The statement prayed unto Almighty Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdaus. It also prayed his entire family as well as his associates the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
