The Kebbi State branch chairman of the  National Youth Caucus of Nigeria, Comrade Sanusi Bala Dan Inno in has  decried what he described as abrupt invasion of car dealers offices in the state.

Dan Inno who made the disclosure during a press conference   said that, customs should have follow the path of dialogue by holding meetings with the leadership of car dealers to push for licences and duties instead of raiding their business places,he noted that lots of them with small capital will be out of business since the duty fees fixed by the federal government is high therefore some cannot afford to pay at once, instead they will device another means of livelihood and that may not be a lawful one, which means crimes to survive will increase to add to an already shaky security situation in the country.

Bala urged the federal government to review the vehicles duties fees to enable car owners to pay and avoid the risk of throwing thousands back to the saturated labour market which in the end will not augur well for the country.

The unionist said his concern is the youth because he knows thousands of them who couldn’t get job after graduation but settled for car business,”some of them can only buy one or two, some don’t even have capital they buy for others and get paid, some washes cars to earn daily bread what will become of them he lamented.

Speaking further Sanusi said he understand the fact that government needs revenue but same government should provide alternative to those who cannot meet her conditions, he called on youth to remain law abiding as the situation bites harder.
