President Bola Tinubu is currently locked up in a meeting with Service Chiefs in Nigeria, for the first time since taking over the reins of power from former President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday and Tuesday when he first reported to office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting which also included Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), Lucky Irabor, also has in attendance, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Farouk Yahaya; Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Admiral Awwal Gambo and the Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Marshal Isiaka Amao, as well as the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba.

Others are the Director-General of the Department of State Service(DSS), Yusuf Bichi; the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Rufai Abubakar.

The ongoing meeting is Tinubu’s first official engagement with the heads of the nation’s security and intelligence agencies since he assumed office last Monday.

The President met with the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, at the Villa on Wednesday.
