UNICEF highlights Nigeria’s alarming out-of-school children figure, now at 18.3 million, the highest globally. Chief of Bauchi Field Office, Dr. Tushar Rane, flags concerns over primary school attendance and dropout rates. Collaboration with UBEC aims to develop strategies for reducing the number of out-of-school children and improving retention in secondary education.
