The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, has cast his vote at unit 03, ward 6, Okelele compound, Ikogosi Ekiti in Ekiti West Local Government.
Oyebanji, together with his wife, Olayemi, told journalists after the exercise that he was impressed by the orderliness in the unit.
“I can only base my assessment on what happened in my unit and so far, it’s been very impressive and seamless. I love the orderliness of the exercise and I commend all the stakeholders; the electorates, the electoral body and the security agencies,” Oyebanji said.
Asked if he was sure of victory at the end of the exercise, Oyebanji said he was optimistic, considering the achievement of the ruling APC in government and the issue-based campaign that was carried out until Thursday morning.
