Iwo Progressive Association (IDA), a group comprises indigenes of Iwo, born and brought up in Ondo town, headquarters of Ondo west local government has endorsed the candidature of Honourable Moshood Kamal Okunlola, (MKO) as the next house of representative member for the constituency.
According to a statement signed by the chairman of the association, Alhaji Muslim Mutiu, and made available by the secretary, Animashahun Maruf Olakunle, the group described MKO as the best material that can bring back the glory of the Constituency.
While urging the people of Iwo and Ayedire local governments to take shine their eyes while casting their votes in the next general elections, the group says politics cannot be judged base on political affiliations alone but also on personality.
“Alhaji Moshood Kamal Okunlola popularly called MKO, has been a man of the people right from his youthful age.
“The Seriki Musulumi of Iwo land and it’s environment is a man with utmost fear of God who can be trusted based on his past and present antecedent ”
“It is our believe that if given the opportunity to represent this our great constituency at the federal level, we will definitely feel a great and positive impact of his representation ”
In a related development, Iwo Progressive Association has also called on the people of Osun state to vote for their conscience in the forthcoming governoship elections in the state.
