The National Working Committee (NWC) of the United Progressive Party UPP, on Monday reconstituted the Anambra state Working Committee of the party, saying the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party resolved to commence implementation of the party’s policy of repositioning the state chapters of the party for improved political activities at the state level, promotion of the party manifesto and the objective principles of its Constitution as well as the growth of the party and its membership.

The national chairman of UPP, Chief Chekwas Okorie, while stating this in a press release added that “This exercise shall be on State by State basis to ensure effectiveness and better coordination”.

The statement said that a 28-member State Working Committee has Chief Patrick Udealor as State Chairman and Hon. Mmuo Cletus as State Secretary, respectively.

A list of full names of the 28 members according to the statement, is contained in an attachment to the memo signed by the national chairman.

The date for inauguration of the new State Committee will be announced by the party .
