In a recent development, the Edo State Police Command has apprehended a 26-year-old native doctor, Chukwuyem Jonah, along with two other suspects in connection with the tragic death of Miss Faith Omodon, a 200-level student at Delta State University, Agbor.

Miss Omodon was reported missing on April 4th from the Iru Egbede community in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, after she failed to return from a trip to the farm.

Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, disclosed that alongside the native doctor, the accomplices were identified as Godspower Chukwuedo, 23, and Christopher Nwachukwu, 22.

Edward Omodon, the father of the deceased, expressed profound sorrow over the incident, describing it as tragic and unfortunate. He emphasized his desire for justice and urged the government to take decisive action in holding the perpetrators accountable for his daughter’s untimely demise.

The arrest of the suspects marks a significant step towards uncovering the truth behind Miss Omodon’s disappearance and subsequent death, bringing hope for closure to her grieving family.
