Young C, a Nigerian man who garnered attention for embarking on a 24-hour challenge of being buried alive, has faced consequences from the short video platform TikTok, which permanently banned his account.

Following his controversial stunt on Wednesday, where he voluntarily subjected himself to being buried alive in a coffin for an entire day, Young C’s profile on TikTok is no longer accessible.

The stunt, which drew widespread attention online, bore similarities to a challenge previously undertaken by American YouTuber MrBeast, who spent extended periods buried alive to raise awareness about deforestation.

While such challenges may generate buzz on social media platforms, they also raise concerns about safety and responsible content creation. TikTok’s decision to ban Young C’s account reflects the platform’s stance on harmful or risky behavior showcased on its platform.
