A highly placed government source confirmed the death of the legislator representing the Governor’s Constituency of Obudu in the Cross River State House of Assembly.
Akwaji died this afternoon after a brief illness at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
The cause of his death is not yet known at press time.
