Gernot Rohr will continue to be on the saddle when Super Eagles resume their quest for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification as well as that of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
In a string of tweets, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick announced that “NFF and Coach Gernot Rohr have concluded all contractual discussions and he will stay on as Coach of the Super Eagles.
“We have always had confidence in his abilities and we are confident that the national team can only go higher from here.”
His existing contract ends next month. The new contract will see him through to the period of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
